It’s time for our annual End of Season Tournament, which is coming up on Saturday, August 22nd at Pinecrest. Check-in will start at 7:00 a.m. and we will tee off promptly at 8:00 a.m.
Format: The tournament will have a 6-6-6 format this year as follows:
Holes 1 – 6 will be Alternate Shot format
Holes 7 – 12 will be Chapman format
Holes 13 – 18 will be 2-person Scramble format.
These are all the formats we already played this year during our “Fun Nights”.
Costs paid the morning of the tournament:
Cart Rental – if using a cart (paid to pro shop that morning): $19.00 per person
Mulligan Card (2 mulligans) – limit 1 card per person $5.00 each person
Licorice Ropes – limit 1 per 2-person pairing $5.00 each
Golf Pro Par 4 Drive – limit 1 per 2-person pairing $10.00 each pairing
New this year is the Golf Pro Par 4 Drive. During the 2-person Scramble, on Hole 14, you and your partner can have a Pinecrest Pro make your drives from the tee box, and you’ll pick the best ball from their drives to continue playing with your partner from the most favorable position! This should be a lot of fun!
Contests: This year will include:
Hole 6 – Longest Drive
Hole 12 – Closest to the Hole
Hole 18 – Longest Putt
Tournament Winners and Payouts will be announced during the End of Year Banquet at Bob’s Golf on Wednesday, August 26th.
